Herb infused Oils

From the moment we started our business, we knew that our highest priority was the quality of our products. We knew that harvesting our own beeswax for products would set us apart, but we also began dreaming about what else we could do to ensure our products would be the most effective and have the most benefits for our customers.
First, we began to weigh the difference between creating products with essential oils or with herb-infused oils. We believe that nature nurtures and, to us, it makes the most sense to directly infuse our own oils with herbs. This allows us to extract the most healing properties out of our herbs. While essential oils can provide some of the same properties, we would have to add a large quantity in our products for the same effect we can get by infusing our oils ourselves.
After deciding to use infused oils, we decided we would begin to grow as many of our own herbs as possible. This gives us the quality control we want to ensure that our customers are getting the best all-natural products that they deserve, and the premium standard we desire to provide. We grow or wild-harvest all but one of the herbs we use, that being lavender, which is grown just a few miles down the road. We also purchase all of our oils based on their beneficial properties. We could use much cheaper oils, but that would not yield the highest quality products our customers deserve.
We believe God has gifted us with herbs that possess incredible medicinal properties. To incorporate these into our products, we use a cool-infusion process. The dried herbs are mixed with a chosen oil and allowed to steep in a cool, dark place for a minimum of 7 weeks. During this time, the healing properties of the herbs will be drawn out and incorporated into the oil, leaving an unparalleled base oil to build healing all-natural products upon.
Here are a few herbs we use in our infused oils and a few of their notable properties:
Calendula is a bright orange and yellow flowering plant, known in herbal medicine for its gentle, restorative properties. We’ve written more about Calendula here.
Soothes irritation: Calms redness, swelling, and itching associated with sensitive skin, eczema, or minor rashes
Promotes wound healing: Encourages tissue repair, collagen production, and skin renewal to help heal minor cuts and scrapes
Provides antioxidant defense: Delivers regenerative properties that neutralize skin-damaging free radicals caused by toxins like pollution and UV exposure
Supports skin moisture: Supplies natural fatty acids and moisturizing treatments that hydrate the outer layer of the skin
Fights bacteria: Offers mild antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that help keep minor skin irritations clean and clear of infection
Yarrow is a flowering perennial plant in the daisy family known for its feathery leaves and clusters of small white, pink, or yellow flowers. It has a long history of traditional use as a medicinal herb for healing cuts and stopping bleeding.
Wound Healing: Yarrow speeds up tissue repair, helps close minor cuts, and reduces scarring
Anti-Inflammatory: It calms redness, soothes irritated skin, and helps manage conditions like eczema or acne
Natural Astringent: Yarrow tightens pores, cleanses excess oil, and refreshes oily or impure skin
Anti-Aging: Its antioxidants protect collagen and elastin, which helps maintain skin firmness and reduce fine lines
Chamomile is a daisy-like medicinal herb from the Asteraceae family, primarily used for its calming and healing properties.

Fights acne: Combats acne-causing bacteria with natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties
